ITS JobsIn ITS we believe we have something very special to contribute to the educational experience of GC students -- some of the best jobs you'll find anywhere. Jobs that are fun and challenging. Jobs that deepen your classroom learning. Jobs that look great on a resumé. If you have interest and abilities in programming, troubleshooting, hardware repair, multimedia, audio and video production, networking, web design, writing, and you're hard-working and responsible -- we'd like you to consider working for us. If you are applying for a Student Technology Assistant position, use the STA Job Application. Getting to the Corps of the Matter The job opportunities within ITS are almost as varied as the students who attend GC, but they all fall within groups we call the "Corps"--DevCorps, EdCorps, HelpCorps, MediaCorps, TechCorps and WebCorps. There are year-round job opportunities with most of the corps--part-time during the school year, full time during summer. DevCorps programmers are creating the next generation GC Administrative system, GC Online, with its personalized, secure web applications. Contact Reuven Hodges at if you are interested in joining DevCorps. EdCorps developers are focused on helping profs incorporate technology into the curriculum in interesting, effective ways. Contact Floyd Saner at if you are interested in joining EdCorps. HelpCorps Student Technology Assistants (STAs) staff the ITS Help Desk, providing technical support to faculty, staff and students morning, noon and night. Contact Pamela Kistler-Osborne if you have questions about HelpCorps. MediaCorps technicians support media in the classroom and provide live sound support, audio and video recording and production for campus events. Contact Paul Housholder at if you are interested in joining MediaCorps. TechCorps covers a wide range of hardware and networking tasks ranging from wiring to hardware troublehooting and repair to system placements. Contact David Hodges at if you are interested in joining TechCorps. WebCorps designers work as a team to create high quality web pages for the various departments of Goshen College and for Mennonite.net. Contact Michael Sherer at if you are interested in joining WebCorps. |
