GC Wireless Project

Monday, January 31, 2011

The GC Wireless Project is an ongoing project to provide seamless 802.11 wireless coverage to the campus and to connect off-campus housing to the main campus network.  It began in 1999 when Gene Crusie connected the first off-campus houses to the campus via point-to-point wireless using an omni-directional antenna mounted on top of the Science Building.  The project is currently managed by David King.
