Printing Information


Laser printers are available in both the Schertz and the Library labs.  Students receive $25 of free printing at the beginning of each semester and 7.50 for the May term.  You must purchase additional print credit from ITS if you run out before the end of the semetster.  Black laser printing costs 10 cents per page.  Color printing is 25 cents.  Schertz Computing Center aslo houses a large format (11x17) laser printer which cost 20 cents per page.

Students can print to the following printers:

Connector:  connector 2nd floor laser (on the Kratz-Miller connector second floor),
connector 4th floor (on the Kratz-Miller connector fourth floor)

Schertz Lab:  scc-laser, scc-colorlaser, scc-widelaser

library libr-glref-laser, lib-lab-laser

Special Papers

The bookstore has laser transparencies and laser photopaper available for sale.

Print Balance


Goshen College students receive $25 of print moneys per semester.  Printing costs 10 cents a page, 20 cents for color pages. Your current print balance is available on the Goshen College website. On the Goshen College on campus page log on to GCOnline. At the top right-hand corner of the GCOnline page under Personal Services, Click on the Print Balance link. The dollar value of your remaining print balance will be displayed.

Adding a Network Printer


For a PC: On your desktop,click on Start-Run. A small window will appear. In the text bar provided type \\gcprintserver. Click  okay. A list of printers will appear, with the printers name on the lefthand side and its location on the right. Select the printer you want to add. Another window will pop up. On that window, click on "Printer" and then "Set as default printer." The printer you have selected will now be the default printer that applications on this computer will print to. It will also appear in the drop down printer list on Microsoft Word.


N-up Printing

Duplex Printing
