Print 2 or more pages to 1 physical piece of paper.
This process is called N-up printing and can be done from
any application in the lab that uses the standard printing dialogs.
Note that some applications, like Adobe
Acrobat or Photoshop, have their own very specialized print dialogs that can
accomplish this in slightly different ways.
Below you will find the most generic way that should work for most
applications.
1.From the Print Dialog, click on the “Properties” button beside the
printer. Some applications will have
slightly different printing options available, but the printer properties should always be
approximately the same place.
2.In the Printer
Properties, click on the “Layout” tab at the top, and then adjust
the “Pages
per Sheet” value to fit more than one page on a physical sheet of paper.
Note the preview of the output on the right
side of the dialog.
3.Now click “OK” to return to the print dialog and print your
document. You should be charged for
the
number of physical sheets used by the printer, saving you money and the earth a
little
bit of paper.
