In many cases we've been able to provide helpful links to the software manufacturer's Web pages, where you can often find descriptions, instructions, samples, and tutorials.

Antivirus

Many new and destructive viruses are continually making their way to your computer via the Internet. All Goshen College Windows computers are protected with Sophos anti-virus protection. If you are looking for a reliable anti-virus program for your personal/home computer, there are many reliable applications available for purchase, such as McAfee, and Norton Anti-Virus. There are also reliable free applications such as Microsoft Security Essentials or AVG Free. Employees are also eligible to use Sophos Antivirus for free on their personal computers. Sophos for employees can be downloaded from GC Online.  Please be sure to keep your personal/home computer updated with the latest anti-virus protection.
