Viewing Schedules and Reserving Computer Lab Classrooms in Oracle Calendar

You can use Oracle Calendar, our campus-wide calendar/scheduling service, to see when classes are scheduled in the labs and to make a reservation. Computer labs are "Resources" in Oracle Calendar. Once you have logged in to Oracle Calendar you can open the agenda of other users and resources.

Click the CV Image icon at the top of your own agenda to search for and view other agendas.

In the Open Agenda window, type in R: followed by the resource name of the room you wish to make a reservation in.

Following is a list of the Computer Lab resource names: (Resource agenda names need to be preceeded with "R:".)

  • R:AD21 (Administration Building Classroom Lab, Room 21; 15 student stations and 1 instructor station)
  • R:GL102 (Good Library Classroom Lab, Room 102; 23 student stations and 1 instructor station)
  • R:NC12 (Newcomer Center Advanced Technology Lab, Room NC12; 12 student stations and 1 instructor station)
  • R:UN001 (Mac Design Lab, Room UN001; 13 student stations and 1 instructor station)
  • R:UN004E (Shertz Classroom Lab, Room UN004 East; 12 student stations and 1 instructor station) *
  • R:UN004W (Shertz Classroom Lab, Room UN004 West; 12 student stations and 1 instructor station)*
*If you wish to reserve the entire UN004 computer lab, you need to reserve both the East and West sides
Tip: if both sides are available, but you only need one side, reserve the West side so you will be on the far side of the lab and will not be interrupted by walk-ins using the other side.

The Shertz Main Computer Lab (Room UN002) cannot be reserved for classes so it is always available for use during lab hours.

Here are some other possible search parameters you may use to find and view resource agendas in Oracle Calendar:
