Forwarding Your Goshen College E-mail


If you have another e-mail account through an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or free e-mail service on the web, and wish to have your Goshen College e-mail forwarded to that other e-mail account, please proceed with the following instructions.

Go to mail.goshen.edu and log in to Zimbra.

Click on the "Preferences" tab, and then on the "Mail" tab.

Under where it says "Receiving Messages," enter the email address you wish to forward your GC email to in the space that says "forward a copy to:".

Unless you want to keep a local copy of your messages,* check the box marked "Don't keep a local copy of messages."

Any new email that is received to your Goshen College e-mail address will now forward to your other e-mail address.

* Note: If you do want to keep a local copy of your messages, you don't have to check this box, but if you choose to do this, your GC email will fill up over time.  If you want to make local copies, be sure to check your GC email frequently to prevent your mail quota from being filled.
