Welcome to the Goshen College Wellness Page

Goshen College has teamed up with other members of MEBP (Mennonite Educators Benefit Program), Bravo Wellness, and Everence to create a “win-win-win” wellness program to:

1) Improve and sustain better health for employees;
2) Create savings on health care expenses for employees and the employer; and
3) Free up resources that can be used for pay, benefits, and other institutional priorities

This will be achieved by encouraging employees to have a confidential screening annually at no cost to the employee, and providing resources to help employees make better lifestyle choices and health care decisions. While this is a voluntary program, those employees who choose not to participate in screenings will be required to start paying 20% of their individual health care premium rate as of July 2012. We need to attain a high employee participation rate in order to positively affect the future cost of health care at all MEBP institutions while also improving the overall health of our employees.

Wellness Screenings and Information - 2012-2013

Employee wellness screenings for 2012-2013 are scheduled for Tuesday through Friday, April 10th through April 13th in Newcomer 19. Every employee who has health insurance through Goshen College is encouraged to participate in the screenings. If you choose not to do so, you will be required to pay part of your employee premium starting July 2012. You must register for your screening appointment.
