Recent and current grants received

2003

- A grant from the Lilly Endowment "Initiative to Promote Opportunity Through Education Collaboratives" to fund entrepreneurship opportunities and internship placements. Project director of the LINC program is Dr. Del Good, professor of economics. 2004-2006, extended through 2007.

- A matching grant from Lilly Endowment to encourage philanthropy from various donor groups.

- A grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to fund a research project by Principle Investigator Dr. Jan Bender Shetler titled "Humanizing the Serengeti Landscape: Environmental History in the Oral Traditions of Western Serengeti Peoples."  Three months of research in Tanzania and England, then three months for writing a book manuscript.
