- A grant from Lilly Endowment religion division for “Amish and Old Order Groups of Indiana,” a project to produce educational materials and create bridges of communication in various communities throughout the state. Principle investigators: Dr. Tom Meyers, professor of sociology and Dr. Steve Nolt, associate professor of history. Project director Dr. John D. Roth. 2000-03.

- A grant from National Science Foundation for “Improving the Analytical and Collaborative Skills of Students with Inquiry Activities in Physiology Laboratories.”  Principle investigator: Dr. James S. Miller, professor of biology. 2000-03.

- A grant from the Teagle foundation for a Peace & Justice Collaborative between Goshen College, Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) and Andrews University. Project director: Mary Yoder Holsopple. 2000-03.
