If you don't have a specific funder in mind, begin with Internet
research sources, and start with more general, searchable databases
such as these:
Foundation Center
- Includes thousands of funding agencies that are searchable by keyword, subject, geographic area, etc.
GrantsNet
- a resource for finding funding agencies for training in the
biomedical sciences and undergraduate science education. Supported by
HHMI and AAAS.
National Science Foundation
- All proposals must be submitted online through the FastLane system,
with final submission by the provost or grants coordinator.
Indiana Humanities Council
- gives grants to conduct public programs dealing with the humanities,
especially those strengthening communities through leadership,
education, or culture
