What made you want to become a RD?

I wanted to become an RD because I felt that it was a natural move for me. With my background in psychology and experience volunteering, serving, leading, and working with youth this position was great next step.

What does the position of RD mean to you?

Surrender Walk

The Lord has given me an unwavering desire to live my life in surrender to Him.  For me, living a life of surrender means earnestly striving to keep His commandments and opening up my heart to allow my life to be interrupted and inconvenienced, having a heart to serve and move beyond myself, and loving unconditionally as I interact with others.

With this surrender walk, being an RD is close to a perfect way to live out this desire. I feel honored to be able to serve God’s precious people in the unique way that I am able to in this position: making myself available and sharing my life intentionally, mentoring, problem solving, leading- caring and loving unconditionally- so wonderful!

It is a blessing to be here at Goshen and a part of what God is doing here. I am humbled to be used by God as an RD.

1 Peter 4:11  whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
