About five times a year the Pinchpenny Press (PPP) editorial
board publishes chapbook-size books written by Goshen College students,
faculty members or friends of the college. Normally published in editions
of 100, the books are sold primarily on campus for $3 to $8 each. The
Pinchpenny editorial committee consists of GC English department faculty
and students including the Horswell Fellow.
Faculty advisers are Beth Martin Birky (
bethmb)
and Bobby Meyer-Lee (
bobbyjm).
Pinchpenny Press books are:
- of high literary quality.
- low priced, so all can afford to enjoy them.
- printed and bound with at-hand resources.
- attractive in their visual design and illustration.
- published using volunteer student labor
- written and sold with the authors involvement in all stages of
the publishing process.
