TRAIN
Elkhart (9 miles from Goshen) is served by Amtrack.
As of July 2002 trains arrive in Elkhart daily:
--from the west at 2:29 a.m. and 9:48 p.m.
--from the east at 8:03 a.m. and 10:50 p.m.

AIR
Goshen is served by South Bend Regional Airport.
Sometimes low fares to Chicago O'Hare or Chicago Midway make it desirable to fly in there and then travel from there by bus to South Bend, rather than to continue by air to South Bend Regional Airport.
Car rental is available at South Bend Regional Airport.

LOCAL BUS CONNECTING AIRPORTS (United Limo = Coach USA)
As of June 1, 2002, bus service to Elkhart was discontinued.
United Limo goes from Chicago to South Bend and then only as far east as Mishawaka.

SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM SOUTH BEND AIRPORT TO GOSHEN COLLEGE
15-passenger "Goshen College" vans will leave from the airport for Goshen College:
--Thursday, October 24, at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m.
--Friday, October 25, at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m.
15-passenger "Goshen College" van will leave from Goshen College for the airport:
--Sunday, October 27, 1 p.m., from the Church-Chapel south entrance
$10 U.S. per trip, payable to the driver.
In the airport lobby, the driver will hold a "Goshen College" sign.

LOCAL BUS SERVING ELKHART, GOSHEN COLLEGE AND SOME MOTELS
"The Bus" now serves Goshen-Elkhart every 30 minutes. In Elkhart, buses leave from the downtown central plaza and enter Goshen on US 33, continuing south on Main Street, turning east onto College Ave. past Goshen College, and continuing on to Super Walmart (near Courtyard by Marriott and Holiday Inn Express). The bus may be flagged at any point on its route. Drivers will offer helpful information. The Bus passes the north gate of the Goshen College campus-travelling both north and south-every 5-10 minutes past the hour and half-hour. $1 per ride.
