Arthur DeLong Writing Award

Since 1980, the professors of Expository Writing have selected the best student essays to publish as a collection of writing samples called Exposition. Thanks to a gift — from his friend, alumna Doris Wade Rupe — honoring Arthur DeLong, the English department selects two to three authors who receive a cash prize for their award-winning essay.
