Adjunct Professor of Economics
Goshen College invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Business Department for the 2009-10 academic year. Teaching responsibilities include Principles of Microeconomics in the Spring semester. Enrollment for microeconomics will be 50-60. The course is scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:00 – 2:50 pm.
The Business department offers majors and minors in business, accounting and business information systems as well as minors in global economics and entrepreneurship. All business department majors are required to take both economics courses, and many other students take the Principles of Microeconomics course to fulfill a general education requirement.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates committed to excellence in teaching at a liberal arts college. Business Department faculty members are expected to support the core values of Goshen College. Candidates need to have completed or be near completion of a PhD in Economics.
