Part Time Technical and Public Services AssistantStaff position announcement:Goshen College is seeking a part time Technical and Public Services Assistant who is responsible to order , receive and process books using a variety of software applications. The assistant also codes and submits invoices for payment and assists with specialized acquisition reports. Additionally, this position provides customer service and supervision of student workers at the circulation desk (approximately 30% of time), which requires regular use of the online circulation system and knowledge of circulation policies. This is a .5 FTE position with hours ranging from 25-40 per week during the school year. Qualifications:BA preferred or AA with experience required; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable or detailed record-keeping/filing systems highly desirable; supervisory experience preferred; working knowledge of library concepts and terminology and/or publishing industry also helpful .
