  • After completing the admissions process, candidates who intend to teach science or social studies will need to arrange a meeting with the teacher education license advisor to determine which specific areas of science or social studies they will be licensed to teach.
  • Candidates who intend to teach business are to take an Advanced Keyboarding Test to assess keyboarding skills. Those who do not pass this test will need to register for an independent study, Bus 102 Advanced Keyboarding for 1-3 credit hours through the business department chair, or take an advanced keyboarding course at another institution.
  • Courses listed for 2 credit hours above are in reality 3 credit hour courses, with a reduction in project requirements. Due to state maximum credit hour requirements, we are giving you more education for less money. Please budget your time accordingly.

Applicants must submit all necessary materials by June 1, 2012 to be considered for preliminary admission.
