Special Education

Goshen offers certification in Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention for K-6 in conjunction with an elementary education certificate. It is a certification that must be completed at the same time as an elementary education certification but does not stand alone as a separate program. GC is one of only a handful of institutions throughout the United States to offer a joint elementary/exceptional needs certification in an undergraduate program. To complete this program, 12 additional hours are added to the elementary education program.
