Introduction to Email

Email has become an essential part of how we communicate. Many professors correspond with their students via email. Students submit papers, hand in assignments, participate in listservs, and inquire about class discussions and homework all via email.

Calvin provides an email account for all students, faculty, and staff. This is your official email for all academic purposes while you are at Calvin. If you have not yet picked up your Calvin username and password, take your Calvin-ID to the Information Technology Center (ITC) located on the 1st floor of the Hekman Library. Your username and password give you access to your Calvin email and KnightVision account.

This tutorial gives you a brief introduction on general email concepts and then shows you how to use IMP, the student email package at Calvin.
