This comes at a great time when I am challenged by some of my church's teachings. This word that you have put forth is proof that yes, we are saved by faith through Christ's salvation, but that we are still to seek Him and confess our sins in order that we may be forgiven. Am I right in saying so? It's not something that just happpens with faith, or is it? Struggling. Prayer for clarification and discernment is definitely needed. There is confusion between my upbringing as a Catholic in the church, and what my church's current teachings are. I often wonder if we are catering to the sinners of the world by making them feel good through the message, or if absolute TRUTH is coming towards me, and I'm simply blind and cannot see it.
