What a great devotional. I'll have to subscribe for next year. It is truly something to think that Jesus was not the typical child that we all watch grow and have hopes and dreams for.

What a blessing you have been, making my Advent season and the celebration of Christmas take on new, enriched meaning. Your reflections have been shared with others as well. Who knows how many others may have been touched as the blessings get passed around. God love you. Mary

I just want to say thank you for these messages. My husband has prostate cancer and on Wednesday we are going to a radiation therapist (or something like that - anyway, a doctor our urologist is sending us to. Pray we make the right choice about how to take care of this. My husband is not a believer though he helps out at church - won't go to services - and supports me in my faith. It's hard.

Thanks much for this Advent series: I've used 'em in of all places for the waiting area of my work place. One of our patients has taken up woodworking, and gifte us with a pair of sweetly formed candlesticks. Not knowing what to do with the set, I placed them in a window with the Gideon Bible between them. I turned to each dy's SAcripture reading, and simply attached a PostIt with a brief summary of the day's devotion. Those who noticed appreciated the effort.

Thank you for the Christmas Devotionals. I looked forward to being inspired each morning by either a student or staff. You have good "Thinkers." I enjoyed hearing from each of you. I should have replied every day. Keep up the good work all of you do at Goshen College.

Again this year, I anticipated the devotions you published each day. I especially enjoyed today's although at our home, we await the arrival of our three chidren, their spouses and our seven grandchidlren - two of whom are spending this first Christmas with us. So the quietness was last night when my wife exchanged our gifts to each other after attending the Christmas Eve service with her aging parents.
So, thank you for the joy your community shares in my little community called home.
