It seems the message of peace is forsaken for frenzy as we accept that this season means business. We do have a choice. We are not programmed Christmas robots. Thanks for the message.

Thank you,Ross, for your insightful lead. Mary "treasured" and not merely remembered. The treasure in her heart made her serene and joyous. It takes a lot of contemplative appreciation to internalize the treasure that God has gifted to us.
A Merry Christmas.

Treasure and ponder, daily, not just a one time thing at Christmas. Thank you for that reminder to do this all year long.

Thank you Ross, this makes my sermon writing and perparation today a lot easier as I think of Mary and ponder these things in my heart. I give God & you credit for the direction of my day

I woke up this morning with a stomachache thinking of all the things that had to be done today. Preparations for the service today. Last minute Christmas tasks. But this passage and your words reminded me that Jesus came to bring peace. It puts the day in the right perspective. Thanks

Thanks, Ross, for the reminder and impetus to take time away from the frenzied getting everything done for Christmas and rather to focus on the real meaning of this gift from God to all humanity.
