While I don't agree that we are all called to be Apostles (Ephesians 4:11), thank you for reminding us that we as Christians all need to pay attention to God's call upon our lives.

May God bless you as you continue your journey, faithfully.

Bless you for your willingness to give yourself to kingdom work! God has a way of bringing all of our past training and experiences into a convergence of personal destiny and fulfillment when we seek first his kingdom.

I encourage you to trust the spirit's leading in your life.
I was a music teacher my entire career, and felt God's leading through my influence on my students.

I was lead to be a 'minister of music' in churches and most of all by teaching at Western Mennonite school for nearly half of my career.
God bless you as you find you place of ministry in god's program.

Thank you, Ashley, for sharing these very personal thoughts about God calling you. Many others can also attest to the power of living and serving cross-culturally. Blessings as you continue to listen to God nudging you. Two or three years, in the bigger scheme of life, is not very long, but the impact can be huge, on yourself and on those with whom you serve.

I remember back 47 years ago being a senior in college and "the pull" of the Peace Corps to serve overseas. I thought 2 years of service would be forever, such a long commitment. In the end I sent about 16 years in East Africa from Peace Corps to missionary. And what I learned back then from those experiences has given me the insights I now use in volunteering with the current needs in my community here at home.

Thank you, Ashley. I will ponder God's call upon my life today. As we readers learn about your desire to follow God and we pair that with Paul's willingness to follow, it gives us strength to walk in faith as well. Blessings to you!

Thank you Ashley, for sharing thoughts about your future. Going overseas for service for 2 years was one of the best decisions my husband and I ever made. We learned so much that helped us to relate to the people we would work with later. Your music training will be an asset no matter where you are called to work.
