Thank you, Sophia, for your insight. I too have struggled for the 73 years of my life with the misconception that God desires perfection. What a blessing to know that all He wants is my faithfulness, which I can freely give. I am keeping a copy of your devotion to remind myself that only God is perfect and that I cannot be perfect in this life.
