I like these devotions so much. I want to tell you that our church (Episcopal) published a Devotional Journey booklet with members of the church taking a Bible verse for each day of Lent and writing a reflection and a prayer. It was eye-opening to read what each person said. We tend to think that others don’t “get it”, but I’ve discovered that they indeed do.

Profound thought, Sophie. We need the strength to face daily hard, even harsh, reality. Pray the dear Lord to enable us realize that the Paschal Mystery is already operating in our lives, however tough. Happy Easter. bless you always.

Thank you for your prayer, “sustain our resolve.” Our economy is unstable, war is a reality, earthquakes abound. Yet in all of it we still need to “go, find, untie and bring to Jesus.” He is the victor!
