Deanne’s May Term ‘08 web project on how to design the perfect Mother’s Day card
“When preparing a Mother’s day … card the most important element to think about is of course, your mother. Make it personal! It doesn’t have to be fancy or perfect, she knows that you aren’t either of those…. Card making is a small and inexpensive way to show Mom just how much you LOVE her”
Thoughts and messages:

I have just graduated from Goshen College this year in April and I knew Deanne pretty well. I saw her on the stage performing, I worked with her at Greencroft, and I just saw her on the campus. I was very astonished to learn about this tragic loss. It is very sad to loose a person like Deanne and I send my condolence to the GC community and her parents and I just want to say that God is the only one who can help us go through this hard time in our lives and give peace into our hearts! Peace be with you and every blessing from God!

Posted by Angelique Birky, on June 2nd, 2008 at 9:40 amI remember her working on this mother’s day card since she had worked on it over at my place.
She was so excited about it, and couldn’t take a picture of herself so had asked Simon who was there too, to take this picture…we had just finished lunch together…
She has touched so many people, I am sure she is doing the same up there somewhere.
