11th Annual Celebrate Service Day

Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009

For one day of the year, Goshen College students, staff and faculty take a break from their usual routines and head out into the community to volunteer with local service organizations. Service sites vary from working construction with Habitat for Humanity and LaCasa, or doing grounds work for local schools, to baking cookies for the Michiana Relief Sale.

Celebrate Service Day is one way that Goshen College seeks to encourage a commitment to service in their students and helps them see the many ways that God is at work in our local community.
