As a Multicultural Affairs Office Student Organization, we plan to adopt the two goals of:

Our meetings will offer support to students of Latin American backgrounds by providing time and space to talk about issues and plan campus events accordingly. Through the experiences of Latin American students, the needs of campus and the surrounding community can be named and responded to which will lead to transformation.

Concretely, we will have meetings, social events, service, and campus and community activities.

1. Meetings will be places for leadership to hear ideas and for people to get to know one another.

2. LSU has already been contacted by an outside agency looking for bi-lingual volunteers and to establish an official connection with the community.

3. Traditionally, LSU has done food booths for Diversity Day in the city of Goshen. This year we will try and push further to couple education with food.
