ASL Club Minutes Wednesday, March 5, 2008 10:00 a.m. Care Packages Class reps will remind classes to pay Sam. Each student is asked to contribute $1 for care packages to send to the seniors on internships. Sam will talk to Pryncess and Julie about putting them together. T-Shirts Sam looked into T-shirt places. The ASL Club has decided to go with Springer Designs. Sam will contact them to ask about prices for 50/50, one color, short-sleeve shirts. Thanks to Chet for a great design. Weekend Workshops Club members are asked to come to NC17 at 8:00 on Saturday morning to help set up the food table for the Marty Taylor workshop. Brett will make new signs for the prices of food. Emily will get a cash box. Movie Night ASL Club will be hosting a movie night at the college cabin on Tuesday, March 18 at 5:30 p.m. We will have pizza and pop. We’ll probably be watching “The Helen Keller” story. Mary will get the movie from the library. We will be inviting the Gessinger family, and Sheila may be inviting other members of the deaf community as well. This will be a no-talking, all-signing event. Please bring $2 for pizza. Website Brett will talk to Angela Taylor about this at the workshops this weekend. Next Meeting The next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 19 due to a special chapel next Wednesday.
