We are the American Sign Language (ASL) Club
established at Goshen College in 2003.
What do we do?
Our goal is to create opportunities for people to gather and use ASL as
well as to deepen understanding and raise awareness of Deaf Culture in
our college and the broader community. We believe that events
involving this little known subculture and its language are valuable
resources to enhance the already rich culture of Goshen.
How do we do this?
Many different ways! We do everything from plan oncampus events to
providing carpool rides to financially assisting students attending
workshops or taking their required performance tests to sponsering ASL
coffeehouses in the community.
How can I get involved?
Come to events! Check out what's coming up on the home page! Join us
during club meetings! Members are welcome to come to club meetings and
add their input. Still have questions, comments, or suggestions?
E-mail us at gcaslclubgmail.com! We would love to hear from you!
