First CITL Scholars cohort to graduate!
“We are excited to announce the graduation of the FIRST CITL Scholars cohort!
On May 1, 2011, five Latino students who were in the initial groundbreaking cohort walked across the stage to receive their bachelor’s degree (listed left to right)

Irma Yaneth Spinger, Elementary Education from Goshen, IN
Leandra Francisca Mast, Elementary Education/Special Education, from Plain City, Ohio
Moises Santos Guijosa, Communication, from Elkhart, IN
* Summa Cum LaudeA sixth student will complete his degree in December.
As the first cohort in our program, these students have contributed tremendous information and experience to help Goshen College learn how to best meet the needs of Latino students, the fastest growing population in Northern Indiana.
