Goshen College job & internship bank

The GC job & internship bank was created to assist our students and alumni in connecting with employment and service opportunities. It is the most effective way to recruit GC students, and it's offered to employers absolutely FREE of charge. Here are just a few of the features:
  • Publish a detailed description for each job/internship/service announcement
  • Publish a description of your organization with a link to your web site (viewable by students even when you do not have open position announcements)
  • Search student and alumni résumés to locate qualified candidates
  • Allow students to apply for positions directly through the job & internship bank

INCC career & internship fair

Goshen College is a member of the Indiana Careers Consortium (INCC), a ten-school collaborative of northern Indiana colleges and universities. The mission of the consortium is to promote career opportunities and professional development through collaborative efforts with the goal of retaining the graduates of our member schools in the state.

Along with Goshen College, INCC member schools include: Notre Dame, Bethel College, Ivy Tech, Valparaiso, St. Mary's, Holy Cross, Purdue North Central, Ancilla, and Indiana University South Bend.

Each March the consortium hosts a career & internship fair. Last year over 145 organizations and hundreds of students and community members participated. If you are interested in hosting a booth, please the consortium or visit the INCC web site for more details.

On-campus recruiting

Advertising through the campus newspaper

The Goshen College Record publishes at least 24 issues a year. Advertising space runs from about $7 (for a 2" ad) to $250 (for a full page), with discounts for multiple issues. For more information, please contact the business manager (Brian Wyse, , for the 2007-08 school year) or .

Volunteer for Career Services' events

If your organization is in the local area, a great way to increase your visibility on campus is to volunteer for events sponsored by Career Services. This allows you face-to-face time with students in a non-invasive setting. In the past employers have led workshops on numerous topics from interviewing to money management.

In addition, each semester Career Services hosts an event called Super Tuesday. Students register in advance to have their résumé reviewed and engage in a practice interview with local professionals.
