The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding is a nonprofit organization committed to building strong families by serving to bridge the cultural-generational gap between parents and teenagers. Search Institute is an independent, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization whose mission is to advance the well-being of adolescents and children by generating knowledge and promoting its application. To accomplish this mission, the institute generates, synthesizes, and communicates new knowledge, convenes organizational and community leaders, and works with state and national organizations.
National Study of Youth and Religion
The National Study of Youth and Religion is a research project being conducted at the University of North Carolina and is designed to enhance our understanding of the religious lives of American adolescents. You can sign up for publications and newsletters about their ongoing research.

Y & M on-line: news about youth, war, and peace
The American Friends Service Committee National Youth and Militarism Program addresses the impact of war and military institutions on young people’s lives. They conduct public education campaigns, trainings and workshops, do media outreach and communications work, and support grassroots educational and organizing efforts.
