Testing...
Hi ya'll! I just wanted to test out this nice new blog that I have. A week ago I arrived in Atlanta and jumped in head first. After half a week of orientation the Emmaus House interns started our jobs. Every morning I have to be at Emmaus House by 7:30 to ride the morning camp bus with the children. The mornings are early but the kids are great. So far I have been helping out with the 1st graders in the morning. While the kids can be a handful working with them does make me want to teach in the future. I am living with four other Emmaus House interns this summer in a house just two blocks away from E House. The neighborhood is Peoplestown and it is very different from any where I have lived before. I have to go eat lunch with the seniors, but I will try to update later this week with some pictures.
