BioBlitz!
It's important to be aware of our Earth because we came from the Earth. This is why I LOVE Merry Lea BIOBLITZ AT MERRY LEA Saturday, July 12, 2008 9:30-11 a.m. or 2:30-4 p.m. Learning Center Site A BioBlitz is a one-day gathering of experts and citizen scientists with the aim of documenting the presence of as many species as possible. A BioBlitz brings together specialists from diverse disciplines that might not normally interact and allows the public to interact with the scientific community in ways that might not otherwise be possible. So far, we have people hunting for fish, birds, reptiles & amphibians, insects, crayfish, vascular plants, & mosses. To visit various groups at work, arrive at 9:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. for a guided hike. All ages welcome. For more information you can visit their website at Goshen.edu/merrylea
