Finals, Finals, Finals...
It was pretty nice here last Friday, and then the weather decided to be crappy again for finals week. This Friday and Saturday are supposed to be 80 degrees, though! It will be so nice not to have finals then. I'm not going home, because it's too far for just the weekend - May Term classes start next Wednesday. So I will be relaxing in the warmth around campus, and enjoying having friends come back from SST on Saturday! Also, quite a few of my friends are leaving for May Term or summer SST, so I'll be getting ready to say goodbye as well.
One thing the last week or two that was causing some amount of stress for people was housing for next year. Thankfully, my friends and I decided to apply for small group housing when we found out not all of the houses were rented. We found out last week that we officially got Kulp West next year! It's an 8-10 person apartment in one of the residence halls, pretty much in the middle of campus, next to the dining hall. I am really excited about it, because I get to live with good friends from my hall this year, as well as a few new girls I've recently met. Check out the pictures!
Well, I'm off to do some more studying... Enjoy your week!

April already?!?
A few weekends ago, I took off a day and a half of classes to fly out to Utah and meet my family to go skiing for a few days. We had planned this since Christmas break, so I knew I was going to have to work ahead, but there was still so much to do! Maybe I should consider not taking so many classes in the future... We'll see. Anyway, we skiied at Deer Valley and Park City, both near Salt Lake City. It was a really great trip, and I'm glad I went, even though I had lots of work to make up. You can see pictures below!
Last weekend I went to see Gondoliers, the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta performed at GC. It was really enjoyable, especially because a number of my friends were involved in the performance.
Also, as most of you know, April Fools was the other day... :) A friend and I decided to prank our boyfriends, who are roommates, and set phone alarms that we hid in their room the night before for random times in the middle of the night. They weren't too amused, and tried to retaliate, but I soon discovered how to un-zoom and re-figure the colors on my computer. :P
Oh! Also, last weekend I went to see the Punch Brothers, who were at GC for the performing arts series. We sat in the choral terrace, so we couldn't see their faces or fingers for the most part, which was kind of frustrating. But at least listening to their music was awesome!
Well, I'm certainly looking forward to Easter and some time to just relax.
Enjoy the season :)
