Fall fun!

Well, midterm break is over, and we're heading straight into the second half of the semester! I had a great, relaxing break. Several friends and I traveled to another friend's house in Bluffton, OH, for the weekend. It was fun to see where she lived and get to know the town a bit. We got to see Goshen's volleyball team, too! We did a corn maze, made supper, froze at a soccer tournament, and watched several movies. It was really nice to get off campus for a bit.

Then we had several days back at Goshen to do whatever we wanted. I did some homework, but mostly hung out with a few friends who were on campus and took a much slower pace. I definitely caught up on much-needed sleep as well! One exciting and different thing I did Wednesday was going to the Obama campaign office in Goshen to volunteer for a couple hours, calling people about early voting as well as signing up potential volunteers for the next two weeks as the presidential election nears! It was pretty exciting to be there, and I can imagine it would be really energizing to see a huge group of people so excited about the election.

Sadly, school has to start again, but at least it's the weekend now! I don't have too much to do immediately, but a lot to do in the next several weeks that I desperately need to start working on! We'll see how that goes...

In the meantime, have a great weekend! Pictures are from the Wheaton choir trip and a recent bike ride around town :)
