Midterm Busyness
This weekend, actually right now, Women's Choir is going to Wheaton College (IL) to sing several songs in three worship services and have a workshop with a local youth choir that is interested in international music! That should be fun, but it also means we don't have much of a weekend to catch up with things, and we have to miss Kick Off tonight.
Last night, I went to New World Arts to see Urinetown, a musical that is kind of hard to describe, but really funny. I had a friend in it, and I really enjoyed it. Not having any expectations going in, I was definitely impressed. If any of you live in the Goshen area, I would recommend going any of the next three weekends. You can find information about the show at http://www.newworldarts.org.
Last weekend was homecoming, and my parents came out, even though they didn't go to Goshen. They enjoyed my choir concert, and we also went out to dinner and to the one act Peace Plays, which were very good. Saturday night there was a swing dance hour after off campus, which was a lot of fun! You can check out pictures here.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
