November craziness...
To start off the second half of the semester, my friends and I had a hymn sing in the racquetball courts and invited a ton of people. At one point I think there were 50 or 60! It was awesome.
Then last weekend, my sister came to visit! She is a junior in high school, and came with a busload of students from our home area. It was Halloween on Friday, so there were plenty of festivities going on. In the evening, the professors' kids walked through the dorms and we all handed out candy to them. They were very cute! At 10:30, the Yoder RAs planned a connector night life activity, with a dance, food, and a movie upstairs. There was a competition for costumes, as well. I wasn't really planning on dressing up, but some of my friends convinced me to, so I was a "flapper" with random accessories because we didn't have any real flapper clothes! Some of my guy friends decided to have a "bachelor party" and some of them dressed as girls and went in a group. It was pretty funny, and they won second in the group contest! Then on Saturday night, a huge group of us drove to a cemetery and played sardines, which was fun.
This weekend is a little more chill than last weekend, and I am spending a lot of time studying, or at least I should be. I went to see the mainstage, Saint Plays, last night, which were very good, though also very abstract. I also dyed my hair for the first time last night, on a whim! It was a fun experience to do with friends, though.
Well, enough procrastinating for now... Enjoy the pictures! :)
