Chicago, Camping, et cetera.
Last Sunday, my Humanities (art and theatre) class took a field trip to Chicago to go to the art museum and see a play. It was a bit rainy, but still lots of fun! We had time to walk around the city a bit as well, which was nice. The play we saw was called Dead Man's Cell Phone, by Sarah Ruhl. I really enjoyed it, and also after having read two other plays by Sarah Ruhl, she is quickly becoming one of my favorite playwrights.
This week seemed to fly by very quickly! Yesterday there was a floor volleyball tournament, music and cookout all afternoon hosted by Res Life. It was fun to relax outside and watch volleyball, even if the weather wasn't ideal. Now I'm preparing to go camping with several friends this weekend, which takes more preparation than I had anticipated! But I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.
Hopefully I can post some pictures from various excursions soon! I probably won't write again until I'm home for the summer, but until then...
:)
