Kick-Off and more!
Some things that have been happening:
Last weekend was the one acts, called "Street Scenes," which were awesome! All of the plays were very good, and I especially loved the last opera scene, from Lady in the Dark. A lot of my friends, and first-years in general, participated, so that was great to see.
After one acts on Saturday, the GC campus celebrated spring semester with Kick-Off, a huge talent competition. All of the acts were amazing, as usual, and one of my friends, first-year Scott Kempf, and his brother won with an acoustic version of Hey-Yah. It was incredible! You can check out videos and pictures from Kick-Off and more on GC Journal, our student TV news broadcast.
I've been spending time working at the library (new job this semester) and doing a lot of homework, but I really enjoy my classes! Also, women's choir is very busy getting ready for our spring break tour in two weeks! It will be awesome! I'll post a link later to direct you to the website where you'll be able to read about our adventures and see some awesome pictures!
Well, right now I have to finish studying for a European history exam tomorrow morning... until next time!
