Spring Break - Choir Tour!
We started our tour last Wednesday evening with a trip up to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where we sang Thursday morning for the American Choral Directors Association. After returning to Goshen for a couple hours, we left again Friday morning for Kidron, OH. Saturday and Sunday were spent in Lancaster, PA, and Monday in Philadelphia and Blooming Glen, PA. Tuesday after singing at Christopher Dock (my high school!), we drove up to New York City, where I'm writing from my hotel room. Tomorrow we leave at 8:30 for Pittsburgh, PA, then back to Goshen on Friday!
So we've had 12 or so concerts, and so many incredible experiences! It's been so much fun being in New York the past couple of days, and walking around Philly and Lancaster for a couple hours as well. One of my favorite parts was definitely singing at Blooming Glen, because so many of my family and friends were there, and I felt really connected to the audience. I was very glad to stay at my house (if only for a couple hours...) and see my family a bit!
So maybe later I'll post again with some specifics from tour, but until then be sure to check out the blog and some encouraging comments about our concerts!
