February in Goshen

Goshen: the land of weird weather. February has been odd, with every day different - lots of snow, lots of cold, lots of rain, lots of grey, some sun, some green, some slightly warmer than cold weather... But it's still enjoyable. And although no one's hanging out outside, the dorms are nice and cozy :)

So, midterms are coming up already this week! In fact, I am procrastinating on many homework projects right now. I have a paper due tomorrow, one due Wednesday, at least three tests or quizzes, and lots of reading! But I'm not really complaining, because I love my classes, and my work is usually fun.

Besides school and homework, I've also been able to do some fun things in the past couple of week/ends... lots of late-night hanging out in the connector, and some planned events, like the Hour After a while back. Kim Glick and friends performed lots of familiar songs for a fun evening of listening and some dancing. Many people said it was the best Hour After this year! Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures from that. Last night, some of my friends played and sang a few songs for a connector night life while we drank hot chocolate and decorated cookies (which I gave to people because I gave up desserts for Lent!) So I've had some nice, relaxing times as well as the more stressful getting-ready-for-midterms-and-choir-tour times.

Though I am very glad to call Goshen home, I am also extremely excited for midterm (spring?) break next week! The next time I post will be after our choir tour, and I'm sure I will have a lot to say after that! Adios!
