Hello all!

I’m Elizabeth, a first-year, and new to this blogging community! I have no declared major, and very little concept of what I’d like to study in college or do afterwards, but I think that’s okay. Goals are nice, but I’d personally rather see where my life goes on its own.

At this point, I have enough to worry about every day, and I have to remember that it’s important to focus on the present. We miss way too much of life if we’re always waiting in anticipation of the next fun thing or the next “step” in life. I’ve heard from so many people that college is THE best time of life, in all aspects, and I don’t want to rush it.

That was part of my motivation in choosing Goshen College, or deciding in general that I wanted to attend a small liberal arts college. I know quite a few people that seem to think that college is simply getting enough education to successfully perform in a career setting. Of course, education is incredibly important, but I think experiencing many new and different people is the best part of college.

In the coming months, I hope to give you some idea of what my life here at Goshen is like!

Until next time,

Elizabeth :)
