Wow. (I need better titles)
This week was another full one! I attended church
with my roommate, went to dinner at a professor's
house for Table Grace, saw Oceans 13 (finally!) in
our RD's apartment, saw SiCKO
and listened in on a conference call with Michael
Moore, and went to see Godspell performed at Bethany
Christian School! I was disappointed to miss out on
some other activities, like Farther Along's (a capella
men's group on campus) final concert, although I
know it's not at all possible to do every interesting
thing on campus! But I'm glad I don't have a job at
this point, because the "extra" time really allows me
to explore other really cool happenings!
Speaking of great opportunities, tomorrow a group
of 30 students is traveling down to Columbus,
Georgia, for the weekend to protest the School of the
Americas. I won't write too much about that
now, but hopefully I can blog next week about the
whole experience! I'm sure it will be very
powerful.
Until then... :)
Well, last week was fairly busy! My friend came to
visit for the weekend, which also happened to be
family weekend!
So there were lots of activities going on...
We saw the mainstage play, Step on a Crack, went
to the Lavender Jazz Sound Bites concert,
danced, had a Pride and Prejudice slumber party,
and more. I was also able to finish several papers
and study for tests that turned out well without too
much loss of sleep, thankfully!
