Discover a vibrant,
eclectic, inviting community
The first thing to know is that Goshen is easy to get to. Over 500,000 people live within a 60-minute drive of Goshen College. Direct routes from the US 20 bypass, north of Goshen, include US33 and CR17. From Bristol, SR15 heads straight south to downtown Goshen, while SR15 also brings you from Warsaw in the south.
Once you get here, you may simply enjoy the college campus, but if you feel like staying a little longer you will be rewarded. Goshen’s downtown is definitely one of the coolest around. Few towns its size (just under 30,000) can boast about a thriving downtown cultural arts scene, beautiful historic architecture, and intriguing places to eat and shop.
Downtown is alive, including new and expanded shops, restaurants, art galleries, theaters, a winery, wellness studios, a farmers market, small grocery stores, and several concert venues. Some of Goshen’s most delicious secrets are its varied restaurants. Vegetarian, fusion, tapas, homemade chocolates, local and organic produce, crusty wood fired pizzas, flaky pastries – its all there, you may just need to know where to look. There’s even a bakery for your pet!
If you’re thirsty, Goshen’s got plenty of watering holes. There is plenty of freshly roasted coffee, home brewed and bottled wine, and pub drinks in a variety of inviting environments.
