Music is everything to me. My mom always tells me that I was born singing rather than crying. I cannot imagine a life without music. I have been involved in choirs since I was quite young and haven’t stopped yet. After graduating from Goshen College in 2010 with a degree in Music Education, I decided to step out in the world and go experience music in a new culture and country.
I spent a year working at a music school in Santiago de Chiquitos; a small rural town in eastern Bolivia. That year was the best thing that happened to me! My passions for music, Spanish, and teaching were stretched and increased all year. Coming back to the states I am so excited to be a part of the Goshen College community again. Goshen is a place full of all different kinds of creativity. I’m excited for new adventures back at Goshen and encourage you to come experience some adventures of your own!
