Costs & Financial Aid

When creating a financial aid package for a student, the Financial Aid office first looks at the student’s budget for the academic year. A budget consists of tuition, room and board, books and supplies, estimated transportation and estimated personal expenses.

Typical cost for a full-time student living on campus for the 2013-14 school year:

Tuition $26,900
Room & board $9,000
Books and supplies $890
Health insurance $1,000
Personal items $800
Summer living costs $1,100
Total Costs $39,690

Financial Aid

For qualifying international applicants, Goshen College offers need-based Tuition Grant, which is awarded as a fixed percentage of tuition (not total annual expenses). Financial aid is awarded for 8 academic semesters for students with no prior college experience as long as the student remains in good standing academically and is in compliance with Goshen College standards.

Applicants must submit complete documentation of their academic and financial information. No financial aid award will be made until all requirements for admission have been met.

Goshen College does not offer full scholarships. You and your family are expected to arrange for a sponsor if family resources are limited. The more financial support your family and sponsor can provide, the more likely Goshen College can meet your need.

Goshen College financial aid is not available for students who wish to complete a second baccalaureate degree.
