Log on to GC Online. Under Student Time Card
Management click on 'Supervisor Timecard Tutorial/Manual'.
This will explain the set up procedure. |

| 3. How do I approve a timecard? How often do I approve
a timecard? |
Under Student Time Card Management, click on 'Timecard Approval
(Supervisor)'. Click on 'Check all' and 'Submit' or 'Submit
and go to next'. You must approve by noon on the next to the
last Thursday of each month. December is an exception and
you are notified of this in advance. |
| 4. When do students get paid? |
Students are paid once a month on the last Wednesday of
each month. December is an exception when students get paid
before the semester break. |
| 5. When is a student eligible for a
pay raise? |
Once a student has worked 225 hours, 450
hours, and 675 hours in a particular position in a department,
the student is eligible for raises (3 pay increases total). |
| 6. What is the process for raising a
student's wages? |
The supervisor must complete a Student evaluation form,
discuss this with the student, and then send the form to
the Vice President for Finance for approval. (Student

A student is eligible to work approximately 10 hours per
week when classes are in session. During vacations and summers
a student may be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week
